Important Dates and Reminders
We had a chance to meet our future Kindergators on Friday at our kindergarten camp. I cannot believe it has been a year since you guys and your little ones walked through on your first visit to Addison. They have grown so much!
BIG THINGS:
We still have spots available for our Parent Pedagogy Week. Please see the current schedule below and email me if you are interested. Times slots are a first come first serve basis!
We have some big events coming you might want to plan for…
We have an in house field trip on May 8th we need the permission slip returned and signed as well as $5.
The Gator Gala, our celebration of leadership and learning is May 9th. If you pre-order Chick-fil-a dinner on the grounds starts at 5. The event starts at 6. Our Kindergators usually start the show with the Pledge of Allegiance and Star Spangled Banner. Then families can complete different activities around the school as they learn about the wonderful things we did this year to promote leadership.
Addison students will perform the song "To Make You Proud" at the Gator Gala this year. Dr Champion, our music teacher, has placed a copy of the song on her BLOG if you wish to practice it at home: https://aesmusicroom.weebly.com/.
Field Day is currently scheduled for May 13th. That is a whole day outside full of fun, games and water sports. More information will come out about this soon, but pack a change of clothes and cover your child in sunscreen!
From Coach Golden -- Field Day is approaching and we are once again ordering Field Day tee-shirts. Please see attached order form and return them ASAP as the last day to order is Monday, April 29th. Instructions on how to order are on the order form, but if you have any questions don’t hesitate to email me at keith.golden@cobbk12.org

May 22nd is our awards day. This is the last day of school and it is where students receive any academic awards they have earned.
If you have not already done so -- please send in the large manila envelope with stamps for their final report card to be mailed as well as registration paperwork and student info update forms.
