Roar! What is the largest member of the cat family? TIGERS! This week we will be learning and discussing all about tigers as we pounce into the book Tigers by Laura Marsh. We will use the text to understand how questions can help us learn more as well as how our vocabulary words help us retell the story. endangered: risk of being extinct prey: an animal being hunted, caught, and eaten by another animal territory: a region that is marked and defended by a certain type of animal camouflage: an animal’s natural color that helps them blend in carnivore: an animal that eats meat Here are just a few activities you can do at home with your child this weekend: Make a tiger using a paper plate. Color it orange. Add black stripes to it. Draw a face and make ears. We are also learning about growing and changing. Make a timeline of your life together. For access to leveled books and their 20 minute reading time you could use: Kids A-Z Login Instructions Step
