I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! I hope everyone has a wonderful break with friends and family. We will have a busy 3 weeks before the next break when we get back! Congratulations to our November Camper of the Month, Peyton!

Thanksgiving is a special holiday to give thanks. What does it mean to be thankful? What are we thankful for? This week we will be reading and discussing The Night Before Thanksgiving by Natasha Wing. We will be talking about the main idea of the text. In writing, we will be writing booklets about reasons we are thankful. Our Thanksgiving Lunch is tomorrow at 11:00. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Veterans Day is our focus this week! We will be reading and discussing the nonfiction book What is  Veterans Day   by Elaine Landau. What is a veteran? Many times people don’t know why we celebrate this holiday. This week we will learn what a veteran is and why we celebrate Veterans Day as a holiday.
